The Graduate visa lets international students switch from a Student visa into unrestricted, sponsor-free work (or job-searching) in the UK for a fixed window after finishing their course — no job offer, sponsor, salary threshold, or points test required. It can't be extended: you must switch to a different route (most commonly Skilled Worker) before it expires if you want to stay longer, and time spent on it doesn't count toward settlement the way time on a route like Skilled Worker does.
Cost: £937, plus the Immigration Health Surcharge (£1,035/year, paid upfront for the whole visa length)
