Switzerland has no single, EU-style 'ICT permit' — an intra-company transfer is processed through the country's ordinary non-EU/EFTA work-and-residence permit system, just with the labour-market recruitment test waived because the employment relationship already exists inside your own corporate group. It's genuinely employer-driven: you can't self-petition, and your current employer needs a real Swiss legal entity to transfer you into. Applications start at cantonal level and proceed to the federal State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) for approval, and transfers still count against Switzerland's fixed annual non-EU/EFTA quota once the assignment runs past 120 days.
