Tech Visa is a genuine fast-track — it skips Portugal's standard labour-market test entirely — but it only works through a company that IAPMEI (Portugal's competitiveness and innovation agency) has specifically certified for the programme, not any tech employer. If your employer isn't certified, this route isn't available to you no matter how strong your own profile is; they would need to apply and be certified first, which has its own separate process and no guarantee of approval.
