A direct check of Immigration New Zealand's own page for this visa returned a 404 — it no longer exists as a live page, and independent sources corroborate that INZ's dedicated Job Search Visa (historically for Skilled Migrant Category applicants who'd cleared the points threshold but didn't yet have a skilled job offer) has been discontinued as part of INZ's move to a fully points-based Skilled Migrant Category from October 2023, with further SMC changes from August 2026. If you're looking to search for skilled work in New Zealand today, the realistic current path is different: enter on an ordinary visitor visa to look for work in-country, then apply for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) once you have a genuine job offer from an accredited employer, or pursue the points-based Skilled Migrant Category residence pathway directly if you already qualify.
