This is the standard employee route into France, distinct from Talent Passport — your employer, not you, drives most of the process by applying for a work permit (autorisation de travail) on your behalf. For most occupations that means a labour-market test (proving the role couldn't be filled locally), unless your role sits on France's 'Métiers en Tension' shortage-occupation list, which waives that step and meaningfully speeds up approval.
